The Challenger.
I was in second grade when this happened. I lived in Orlando. Watching the space shuttle launch is something I got to experience many times while growing up in Florida.
1/28/86 is the one that always stands out in my head. It must stand out in the minds of many. That video footage was shown over and over and over again.
RIP Francis R. Scobee, Pilot Michael J. Smith, Judith A. Resnik, Ellison S. Onizuka, Ronald E. McNair , B. Jarvis and Sharon Christa McAuliffe.
